Career Aptitude Testing

The Department of Workforce Services understands the need for students, parents, schools, job-seekers and the like to explore their options as it relates to career aptitude and development. With this need in mind, the Department of Workforce Services provides the following links to further facilitate such career exploration:

Start exploring career options with Career Voyages, whether you are in high school, have graduated, have a vocational certificate, have a 2-year or 4-year college degree, or have knowledge and skills acquired through training centers, on-the-job training, or work experience.

The Choices Program is available on the Department of Workforce Services' local supportive center computers. With Choices, a person can complete a "Career Aptitude Survey," which will link their aptitudes to various jobs to a given personality type. Choices also offers an Interest Profile, Occupational statistics (growth, salaries, etc), College information (locations, courses offered, tuition, etc), and more.
