Tobi Wickham Named as Administrator for Business Training and Outreach Division

CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is pleased to announce the addition of Tobi Wickham as the Administrator for the Business Training and Outreach Division. Tobi joined the Department on August 6th.

The Business Training and Outreach Division, home to 13 state employees, administers some of the Department's most popular programs. Namely, the Workforce Development Training Fund and the WY Quality Counts! programs both offer training grants for businesses and child care providers to access training. Other important programs in the Business Training and Outreach Division include the Employment Training for Self Sufficiency Program, the Dads Making a Difference Program and the Lift Mentoring Program.

Wickham came to the Department from the Carbon County Higher Education Center in Rawlins where she served as the Marketing Communication Manager for three years. Prior to that experience, Wickham served as the Executive Director of The Child's Place Child Care Center in Glenrock.

Wickham holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from the University of Wyoming Casper College. Along with her education, Wickham has over 20 years of non-profit development experience.

Wickham said, "I am thrilled to be apart of the DWS team and look forward to working with the wonderful programs in Business Training and Outreach. There is a lot of opportunity for BTO, from WY Quality Counts to the LIFT Mentoring program, to make a difference in the lives of Wyoming people at all ages."
