WY Quality Counts!™ Launches New Website
CHEYENNE - The WY Quality Counts!™ Program, a part of the Business Training and Outreach Division at the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, is launching a new website today.
"This new website offers resources for families and child care providers with a focus on quality activities for children that promote growth and development. Most notable, is the new feature that enables families and providers to establish online communities to share ideas and advice about parenting. I encourage families to visit wyqualitycounts.org and help our communities learn and grow with our children," explains Nicole Novotny, Program Manager of the WY Quality Counts!™ Program at the Department of Workforce Services.
The program's website, wyqualitycounts.org, is its primary means of communication to child care providers and the public. On this website, individuals can retrieve articles focused on compelling topics, find engaging early learning activities, find 24 quality interactions parents can have with their children that help them develop, create a profile and post questions and reply to other postings and search and post things to do in their community. It also contains information about the program and contact information.
The WY Quality Counts!™ website also features a Providers' Corner where child care providers will find information about the program, news, grants, scholarships, business training, quality training, applications and contact information.
