CHEYENNE - Veterans looking for work are invited to take part in the Veterans Job Fair on Friday, April 17th at the American Legion Post 6 in Cheyenne. The job fair is sponsored by the Cheyenne Workforce Center.

Jerry Davis, a Veterans Representative for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, said, "This is a great opportunity for employers who are interested in hiring veterans to meet qualified veterans who may be a good fit for the business."

Davis said veterans make outstanding employees because of their maturity and the skills they obtained while serving in the military. He added that veterans are also ambitious.

The job fair will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 6 located at 2001 E. Lincolnway in Cheyenne. Questions can be directed toward Davis at 307-777-3700.
