EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING FOR SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROGRAM
Gender Wage Equity
Gender wage disparity programs seek to decrease the gender wage gap in Wyoming by providing female parenting adults with training in non-traditional occupations. ETSS training programs provide full-time case managers that provide services to single parenting females. The case managers focus on the family as a whole and they work with families as partners in identifying and meeting needs. Services that are timely, flexible, coordinated and accessible to participants include:
- Identifying and enhancing family strengths to solve problems which compromise the family's functioning and well-being;
- Developing a family service plan to include strategies to alleviate problems;
- Determining appropriate goals and steps needed to achieve the goals identified.
- Providing, coordinating and referring participants to other community services that may be able to provide assistance.
