The ETSS Grant Program is designed to train parenting adults living below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines (FPG) in a particular business, businesses, or industry. Applications are to be prepared by a training provider in partnership with a business in need of workers, and the local the Department of Workforce Services Workforce Center. Applications that do not demonstrate a strong partnership shall be considered non-responsive to the application requirements and shall not be considered for funding.

What do I need to know about preparing the application?

Who is eligible to apply?

Proposals will be accepted from any entity, except State or Federal agencies.

Who will need to be involved in completing the application for ETSS funds?

ETSS Grant applications are completed by the potential contractor providing the training and the local the Department of Workforce Services Workforce Center.

How will the application be approved?

After submission of the completed application, the Department of Workforce Services will closely screen applications for compliance with the requirements listed in the application instructions.
