Career and Technical Education Demonstration Project Seeks Requests for Proposals

The 2008 Legislature provided funding to plan, design and implement CTE demonstration projects for the school years 2008-2010. The project will be initiated through a statewide competitive RFP process. The purpose of the project is to redesign CTE in Wyoming.

Proposals may be initiated by anyone at the business, industry, community college, trade association, University, or school district levels. However, awarded funds must be managed by a Wyoming school district in the project. Each proposal must include a consortium of no less than a business or industry, community college and high school. More participants are encouraged.

Awarded consortiums will receive state funding for two years and must agree to sustain funding for a third year through the districts’ annual block grant and/or established consortium partners.
