WYOMING WORKFORCE ANALYSIS FOR FUTURE INVESTMENT PROJECT

Wyoming's workforce shortage is one of the most crucial factors facing large and small businesses!

To start developing solutions to address the shortage, the Governor's Planning Office, the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, and the Department of Workforce Services conducted a study titled the Wyoming Workforce Analysis for Future Investment. This analysis was a comprehensive study that includes wide-ranging research and development of comprehensive recommendations around the current and projected job vacancy gap and skill gap in the State of Wyoming.

To conduct the study, the Department contracted with the consulting team of Wadley-Donovan GrowthTech and Younger Associates. They used data obtained through two surveys: an employer survey and a household survey; focus groups with representation from employers, educators, elected officials, and community leaders; and key statistical and other secondary-source information.

The following reports are the findings of Wadley-Donovan GrowthTech and Younger Associates.
